For more than 29 years, we’ve been making it simple for customers all over the world to purchase the highest quality health and wellness products. From supplements to skincare to grocery items, we ship over
50,000 products, from over 2,000+ brands to more than 180 countries, and we’re proud to provide the very best value.

1996

  • iHerb was founded in California
  • Identified clear eCommerce global market potential

2002

  • Moved into an 18,000 sq. ft. facility to support increased customer order volume

2005

  • Launched proprietary internally-developed technology platform for iHerb.com
  • Added product reviews to allow for authentic and honest reviews from purchasing customers

2006

  • Relocated to a 48,000 sq. ft. Fulfillment Center (FC) in Irwindale, CA

2008

  • Launched popular iHerb Rewards referral program
  • Added expiration dates on product pages for increased transparency

2009

  • Launched iHerb House Brands, owned by iHerb
  • Sold first House Brands product Functional Beverage Mix – Immune Punch, Midori Greens, Eureka! Berry, Madre C

2010

  • Expanded footprint to a 360,000 sq. ft. FC in Moreno Valley, CA

2013

  • Opened a 211,000 sq. ft. FC in Hebron, KY, featuring cutting-edge technology to increase capacity and improve shipping speed

2014

  • Launched iHerb app to further enhance the shopping experience for customers

2015

  • Opened larger 393,000 sq. ft. automated FC in Perris, CA
  • Opened office in Irvine, CA
  • Opened office in China

2017

  • Opened office in Pasadena, CA

2018

Surpassed $1 billion in sales
  • Introduced iTested program to get House Brands products tested for quality by a third party
  • Opened a 257,000 sq. ft. FC in Elgin, IL
  • Received $100MM investment from Xiamen Kingdomway
  • Opened office in China

2019

  • Opened a 243,000 sq. ft. FC in Easton, PA
  • Opened first international FC in Incheon, South Korea
  • Opened two inventory hubs: 401,000 sq. ft. in Moreno Valley, CA and 176,000 sq. ft. in Hebron, KY
  • Opened office in South Korea

2020

  • Expanded reach to 23 additional countries
  • Continued operations successfully during COVID-19 outbreak

2021

  • Opened a 65,000 sq. ft. FC in Hong Kong
  • Celebrated the success of the apps with consistently maintained ratings of 67,000+ ratings on iOS, and 166,000+ ratings on Android
  • Launched site in 3 new languages Ukrainian, Thai, and Indonesian. Publishing the site in 16 languages
  • Introduced a new “Autoship and Save” program, our most convenient and flexible way to shop yet

2022

  • Introduced the Wellness Quiz to offer instant and personalized recommendations
  • Launched the Multi-Channel Ecommerce Growth Accelerator Program
  • Expanded Autoship and Save to Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong
